Club tournaments are played with lineups of either 3 or 5 teams. Whichever club wins 2 of 3 or 3 of 5 matches wins the duel.

A club pool play tournament consists of a round robin pool play phase followed by either a single elimination or double elimination playoff phase. Follow these steps to run a club pool play tournament:

• Create the Tournament
  
  1. Click on the Tournaments tab on the left side of the page
  2. Click on the   icon and select New Tournament
  3. Fill in a Name for the tournament
  4. Select Club Pool Play for the Type
  5. Select either 3 or 5 Teams / Line
  6. Select a Payment Processor for online payments (optional)
  7. If accepting payments, enter an entry fee. The entry fee can be customized for each division if necessary
  8. Click the Create button to create the tournament
• Create the Divisions
  1. If not already there, go to the tournament page by clicking on the name of the tournament
  2. Click on the   icon and select Add Division
  3. Fill in a Name for the division
  4. Select a Date that the division will play
  5. Click the Create button to create the division
  6. Repeat these steps for each division in the tournament
• Register
  1. Manual Registration
     1. Go to a division page by clicking on the name of the division
     2. Click on the   icon and select Register Team
     3. Fill in a club Name
     4. Fill in the name and number of points for each team in the lineup. If points are not provided clubs will be seeded in order of registration
     5. Click the Register button to add the club to the division
     6. Repeat these steps for each club in the division
  2. Self Registration
     1. Administrators from other clubs can register teams in Club vs Club events
     2. Log in as an Admin for any club
     3. Go to the Account page
     4. Click on the   icon and select Tournament Registration
     5. Fill in a Line Name for the team
     6. Select the tournament and division from the Tournament pull-down
• Check-In Clubs
  1. A club can be checked in by clicking the empty box next to the club name. Once checked in there will be a check mark next to the name
  2. Any clubs not checked in before setting up the pools will not be included
  3. The check-in process can be skipped by clicking the   icon and selecting Check-In All Teams
• Setup the Pools
  1. Go to the division page by clicking on the name of the division
  2. Click on the   icon and select Setup Pools
  3. Select the number of pools to create by clicking on a number next to POOLS: at the top of the page
  4. For each pool, enter a list of court numbers. Scheduling works best when using one court per match in a duel
  5. Select the match/game scoring system. Custom does not enforce any scoring system
  6. Clubs are placed in pools according to seeding, but they can be dragged around and placed in other pools
  7. Select the time when matches should start
  8. Select an approximate time for each match (in minutes)
  9. Click on the Done button to create the pools and schedule the matches
• Setup the Playoff
  1. Once pool play is complete, go to the division page by clicking on the name of the division
  2. Click on the   icon and select either Single Elim Playoff or Double Elim Playoff
  3. If using a single elimination playoff, select if a third place duel should be scheduled
  4. Select the match/game scoring system. Custom does not enforce any scoring system
  5. Fill in the court(s) to be used. If scheduling matches on more than one court, list the court numbers separated by spaces
  6. Select the time when matches should start
  7. Select an approximate time for each match (in minutes)
  8. Click the Next button
  9. Select which clubs will make the playoff round. Uncheck the green checkbox next to a club name to leave them out
  10. Click the Next button
  11. Modify the bracket seeding if desired. Drag club names to different locations within the bracket, but make sure there is only one club per slot
  12. Click the Finish button to create the playoff bracket
• Finish the Tournament
  1. Once the playoff duels are complete, go to the division page by clicking on the name of the division
  2. Click on the   icon and select Play Complete
  3. Each club's final standing will be calculated based on where they finished in the playoff
  4. Any club's finish can be adjusted by clicking on their placement number
